Allow the cleaner to soak for as little or as much time as needed. Since wheels are different degrees of dirty, S100 Wheel Cleaner works according to what your wheels require. Leaving it on the wheel surface for a couple of extra minutes will not jeopardize the metal.
For badly soiled wheels, use an OXO Wheel Brush or Spoke Wheel Brush to gently scrub away grime without abrading the wheel itself.
