S100 Wheel Cleaner is a safe alternative to acid and lye-based cleaners. These ingredients dull some metals, like polished aluminum and/or coatings like paint, powder coating and anodizing.
Acid is common in wheel cleaners because it works so well at dissolving and breaking the bond between brake dust and the wheel surface. The problem is it’s too harsh and will destroy the appearance value of the wheel. S100 Wheel Cleaner is made of proprietary cleaners that are safe on ALL wheels.
Lye is a powerful cleaner, so powerful it’s the active ingredient in oven cleaners. If it’s powerful enough to eat into and dissolve years of burnt food in an oven, it’s more than powerful enough to dissolve road grime off you wheels. How to use
Simply spray on S100 Wheel Cleaner and allow the cleaning agents to dwell and go to work on dissolving and emulsifying the brake dust and road grime. Then blast the resulting mixture off with a strong spray of water. For neglected wheels, simply agitate for a few seconds with the EZ Detail Brush after allowing the cleaning agents to penetrate into and loosen brake dust and road grime. Then blast your wheels clean with a strong spray of water. After cleaning and drying your wheels and the rest of your bike, apply S100 Corrosion Protectant to seal out corrosive contaminants.
